TWA - Information Hub

TWA - Information Hub

from $165.00

In Saarinen's vision for the TWA Flight Center, form expresses movement, flight and progress. The information desk in this photograph is a dynamic composition that eschews straight lines and right angles in favor of graceful, energetic curving surfaces. The desk surface becomes the leg which becomes the floor, in continuous sophisticated spatial transitions.  Looking like a piece of alien equipment, an elliptical readout board announces arrivals and departures.
