Chrysler Building

Chrysler Building

from $165.00

Soaring above the east side of New York, the Chrysler Building is the ultimate Art Deco skyscraper and one of the most beloved pieces of architecture in the world. Completed in 1930 and for a time the tallest building in New York, the flamboyant design was described as "hot jazz in stone and steel" by modernist architect Le Corbusier. The exuberant architecture is highlighted by the spectacular "crown" element, which incorporates radial circular forms, eccentric triangular windows, and stainless-steel gargoyles.
